Welcome! So happy you’ve decided to take this step in your wellness journey, and I look forward to working with you. Post Secondary School can elicit a range of feelings and emotions which may be difficult to sort our on your own. As a former Post Secondary student, I understand that balance, and self care is important, and that seeking support doesn’t always fall between regular business hours. I offer flexibility to meet the individualized needs of each client.
I view therapy as a collaborative process, and as a Clinician, I am here to help my clients process and work through whatever they decide to bring with them to their sessions during our time together. I have worked for the last five years as a Mental Health Practitioner, working with clients on a variety of concerns and struggles including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, family and relationships, and life transitions.
I place heavy emphasises on identifying and building on ones existing strengths, including recognizing that seeking support for mental health comes from a place of strength, rather than weakness. Using a person-centered approach, I offer a space that is inclusive, affirming and non-judgmental. The modalities that I work with, and like to utilize are CBT, Mindfulness, and DBT.
